Release Notes - November 26, 2024

Here's what's new in our latest update:

New Project Modal Redesign

The New Project modal has been redesigned to be more streamlined and to expose project templates which will be supported in an upcoming release.

The Templates tab contains project templates, with the Blank Project being the only option currently supported. The application-specific templates, marked "coming soon", will be supported in an upcoming release.

The Tutorials tab contains Luminary's tutorials, which you can use to learn about CFD applications and the Luminary platform. For a given tutorial, click the View Tutorial link below Description to navigate to the corresponding tutorial page. Then select Create to open the model in a new project and follow the instructions in the tutorial.

Updated Visualization Controls

The Reset Visualization icon has been replaced with an Add (+) button, making it easier to add new visualizations. To reset your visualization state, you can now right-click on Visualizations and select Reset from the contextual menu.

Reference Arrow for Actuator Disks

When you create an output for an actuator disk, a reference arrow that represents the force/moment direction is now shown.

Fixed Issues

• If walls are not defined in the model before attempting to generate a mesh, an error will now be thrown.
