Here's what's new in our latest update:

Reynolds Number Displayed Based on Reference Values

The Reynolds Number is now automatically calculated and displayed based on the Reference Values you input.

Viscous and Pressure Drag Added to Outputs List

Viscous Drag (N) and Pressure Drag (N) have been added as scalar quantities in the Outputs list, allowing you to evaluate each component of drag independently.

UI/SDK Compatibility: Seamless Mesh Upload via the SDK

Previously, a mesh that was uploaded via the SDK was not accessible in the Setup tab. When opening the Results tab, the Geometry tree panel was also not visible.

Now you can upload a mesh to a project via the SDK and seamlessly use it for model setup, solve, and post-processing in the UI.

Other Enhancements

  • Reduced wait times associated with allocating compute resources for server-side rendering
  • Before a simulation starts running (in the allocating/initializing phases) you can Cancel a simulation and no solution will be written out. Once a simulation is running, the button will now say Stop instead of Cancel, to more clearly indicate that the solution will stop at the current iteration and the results will be saved.

Fixed Issues

  • An Output for residuals was not automatically created upon opening a new project or adding additional physics
  • In the usage table on the Account Usage page, numerical columns were not sorting correctly
  • When uploading some CAD files, the upload would fail without providing any geometry health check information. Now additional information will be provided in these cases
