Release Notes - August 14, 2024

Here's what's new in our latest update.

Enhancements

• New Advanced Solver presets are available for Heat Transfer in Solid physics. For Spatial Discretization, choose between default, conservative, and high accuracy. For Solution Controls, choose between default, intermediate, and aggressive performance.
• We've added the Amplification Factor Transport (AFT) 2019 transition model. This model is a good candidate for modeling natural transitions from laminar to turbulent flow in aerodynamic applications.
• When viewing geometry, you'll now see a new cube-style camera control in the lower left corner of the 3D Viewer. Click on the faces, edges, and corners of the box to change your view.
