Here's what's new in our latest update:

SDK Release 0.21.0

This release brings several new capabilities, quality-of-life improvements, and important fixes. Read more here.

Transient MRF with CHT

Added support for transient multiple reference frames (MRF) in conjugate heat transfer (CHT) simulations.

Calculate Global Min and Max Values

You can now calculate global min and max values for a given scalar from the Contour, Threshold, and Color Bar property sheets.

Notebook Enhancements

Enhanced Data Visualization Controls

New controls at the top of the interactive report widget let you intuitively filter data. Both the parallel coordinates and table views update instantly, and scatter plots now include a Swap button to toggle X and Y axes with one click.

Code Suggestion Navigation

A new button lets you jump to modified cells when applying (or previewing) code suggestions—helping you understand exactly what will change before you commit.

Flexible Metadata Visualization

Choose which fields appear on the X and Y axes of scatter plots—making it easy to switch between columns like lift, drag, max pressure, or max Mach within the ensemble widget.

Other Enhancements

  • Smarter AI Assistance — The QA agent now runs on Claude 4.5, delivering more accurate and context-aware responses.
  • Actionable Geometry Error Feedback — Geometry feature errors now trigger notifications with clickable “Edit modification” buttons that take you directly to the failed modification.
  • Keyboard Shortcuts — Quickly submit dialog forms using Cmd/Ctrl + Enter.
  • Force Direction Improvements — You can now select any force output and automatically populate XYZ directions—switch back to “Custom” anytime to review or edit values.

Bug Fixes

  • Corrected default meshing mode.
  • Fixed a solver issue occurring at 90° side slip for some simulations.
  • Adjusted particle placement to prevent excessive radial distribution near boundary layers.
  • Resolved an issue where the mesh dialog’s wall BC error indicator would not clear after walls were defined.
